24-70 VR and using a pol

Nikon SLR Lens Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
Has anybody tried a 77mm pol many of us own via an 82 to 77mm step down adaptor ring?

My theory is there will only be modest hard vignetting at 24mm where, on FX, an equal colour saturation effect across the frame is challenging. Again in theory there should be no hard vignetting at longer zoom settings.

As an 82-77 step down is an uncommon size I do not want to special order if there is hard vignetting at most focal lengths.

You can buy kit. The rest is mainly down to you.

It is the person behind the camera that makes the difference.

Many photographs taken years ago with less capable than current equipment continue to stand the test of time.
