Underexposure and use of histogram
I am rather puzzled seeing so many totally underexposed images on the forum. It appears nobody is using histogram and just making an uneducated guess on "how bright" it looks on the back of the camera?
1 stop under is bad enough, but I see plenty 2 or more stops down...
Some probably try to preserve highlights in the sun or bright street lights at night. Well there is no point as they appear white to the eye. Just let it go and expose for the rest. If you still care you can always bracket and merge in post.
