Tilt-shift lens to replace wide angle and Lensbaby?Tilt-shift lens to replace wide angle and Lensbaby?

Canon SLR Lens Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
I am new to DSLRs and have just purchased mine along with the 24-105mm lens. I had originally planned to also buy the 16-35mm lens and a Lensbaby, but now I'm considering buying neither of those and going with a tilt-shift lens instead. I would like the ability to take wide angle landscape pictures, and I love the selective focus ability of the Lensbaby (especially for portraits). From the samples I've been looking at online, it looks like a tilt-shift can do both of these things and more AND the images are much sharper than those coming from a Lensbaby. Although not new to photography, I am certainly new to DSLRs and the lens options, so I need your help! Is a tilt-shift lens a good way to replace a wide angle lens and Lensbaby, or would I be better off with the two individual lenses?
