5 stars to Wex!
As you may have seen I decided to send my Sigma 24-70 back as it just wasnt tack sharp, I spoke with them on the phone and said I would like a replacement and they were great! They sent me a returns label with prepaid postage on it and I put the parcel in the post late Thursday afternoon (about 5.30) via parcelforce.
Yesterday afternoon I called them to ensure they had received it, the girl went and checked and came back and said hmmm she couldnt see anything but was just going to check elsewhere..... I wasnt unduly concerned as it had only gone in the post the previous afternoon. But, then she said there was a problem with the tracking on this parcel, (now I was panicking! its a £1400 lens). However she told me not to worry and that someone would call me to tell me when I can expect my replacement. Normally they wait for return to come in to check it over before sending out replacement. 10 minutes later the manager called me and explained that something had gone wrong with the tracking, they could see it had left me then it had arrived with them been signed for.......but then sent out again!! So they have no idea where it is! He apologised said its not my fault and he would get new lens to me straight away. This was at 5.45 last night, this morning at 8am the postman delivered my replacement!!
Fantastic customer service!!! A little different to jessops - I have sent the 5D4 back as well for a replacement, with them I had to pay the postage, cost me £30, £45 if I wanted next day delivery.
