Questions for Panasonic LX100 users.
Some of you know that I'm looking for a camera to use during a vacation my wife and I are planning; hopefully being able to go on might be a better choice of words. I have been looking at a few camera possibilities, and from Marks website, I rather like the results he has had with the Panasonic LX100.
I like the layout of the camera with dials for shutter speed, exposure compensation and the aperture ring around the lens. Somewhat retro, which I like very much. I find it interesting how they have set up aperture and shutter speed priority which is quite different to your standard dSLR. Going back to Marks website and his excellent examples of 4K video, I have some questions in regards to video recording.
I'm sure that manual settings will produce the best results, but I would like to know from users of this camera if one can produce good results using the full auto setting. It will be a camera that my wife wants to use as well. She has minimal experience in photography, although she does enjoy taking photos using her point and shoot. So as a novice, will she be able to use this camera in auto mode and get good results?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
