Marrutt ink for Epson SC-P600

My ink-cost is a bit higher than I would like. I've been considering Marrutt inks for my Epson SC-P600 for some time. Now that my warranty is expired it's even more tempting.
Does anyone have experience with Marrutt inks in general and on Epson and specifically SC-P600? Any feedback would be appreciated. Related messages I have just bought my first A3 printer. I've printed one B & W image A4 and three colour prints all A4 size just to test it. But one black ink cartridge has already run out!!!?? Is this normal?? Just doesn't seem right to empty so quickly.Please advise if anyone can
