Inherited Hexanon lenses - should I buy an E-P1 to use them?
Hi I've inherited my grandfather's camera set. Included is:Lenses:
Konica Hexanon AR 135mm F3.2
Konica Hexanon AR 28mm F3.5
Konica Hexanon 57mm F1.4Schneider - Kreuznach Variogon 1:1.8/8-48 (currently attached to the Bolex Paillard thing)Izumanon Close-up Zoom Attachment 55mm
KFT Auto Teleplus 2x (2 of them)Flash:
Mecablitz Bounce flash (Metz 30BCT4) + diffuserMysterious Thing:
Bolex Paillard ... thingKern Paillard YVAR-FILTIN 1:2.8 f=12,5mm AR (I think this is a lens for the 'thing')And his Konica SLRSo, I was searching to learn about these lenses and ended up here seeing a few different galleries where people have used the hexanon lenses with an Olympus PEN E-P1. So that's got me wondering - is it worthwhile buying the E-P1 so I can give these lenses a 'new life'? Are there other cameras that fit the lenses? (I tried fitting them to my mum's Sony A350 but all the sticking out bits that control the aperture, etc, got in the way). And when I say 'fit', I mean easily. For instance, a brief search brings up a few people who have made the lenses fit their cameras by dismantling the lenses and chopping bits off... That's a bit beyond my technical skills, I'm afraid! Also, if anyone has any ideas on the 'thing' (It's similar to this:
) then that would be appreciated Thanks!
