Cap 1 v LR thoughts?

Ricoh Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
For no-edit raw conversions to jpeg I had a feeling that LR wasn't giving me the best out of my shots. I downloaded Capture One for the 30 day trial and did some A/B tests on three shots. I instantly prefered the colour rendering of the Cap 1 conversions - particularly for skin tone (and the sky looked like the right blue and grass looked grassy green) - but thought that LR had a bit more contrast / midtone contrast which worked better for landscape.

Do any of you have strong feelings either way?

Note, this isn't just a ricoh issue, but GR is all I'm using at the moment so you're opinions would be of particular interest.

Cheers,

James
