Canon sRGB & Adobe RGB

Canon EOS 7D / 10D - 60D Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
Hi All,

I understand that Adobe RGB has more colours compared to sRGB, I also know that if processing images for Print or Web that I should stick with sRGB (unless im wrong?).

I believe my Macbook Pro (mid 2009) is able to show Adobe RGB and if I need to export to web for a showcase I can export with sRGB profile using Lightroom?

So am I missing the point why I wouldn't choose Adobe RGB over sRGB on my camera?

Regards
