Pancake lens: 28 or 40mm?
I plan to buy a Canon pancake lens.For a day-to-day use on a APS-C Canon (T6s or 760D), which one? The 28mm (equals 49mm) or the 40mm (equals 64mm)?Thanks.

hi, i would like to buy canon 40mm pancake for my a7. which one smart adapter do you recommend? I like Viltrox which is not expensive (i don't want to buy metabones 3 prices of the 40mm lens). any other solution? thank you!
40mm f/2.8
All you chaps out there who own/use Canon's "pancake" 40mm; do you use the lens hood dedicated for it? I've seen a picture of it and it hardly seems worth it as it is so small. I was thinking maybe of getting one of those collapsible rubber or silicone ones which, to me appear to be a better idea.

How important is the use of a lens hood on the Canon pancake 40mm 2.8 lens? I see that they are made for that lens. And I see that the lens is not receded anything like the that of the 50 1.8 Ii lens. Some felt that with the recessed optics of the 50mm lens, a hood was not necessary at all.So...
