Best settings for AI-servo with 6D
I know that the 6D is somewhat weaker on the AF front, when compared to other Canon offerings. It was one trade-off that I was willing to accept, and I fully appreciate that 1D series and the 5d3 are better in this respect/ more suitable for some kind of photography (sport, BIF, ...)
Most of my experience is with One shot AF, with a single focus point (either the central one, or moving around to reduce the need for focus-and-recompose).
I would like to improve in my use of AI-Servo. I have set it up to prioritise accuracy both for the first shot and for the subsequent ones (in the custom functions) and I wonder about the AF points selection. What is the best choice?
After some trials, I think that the best set up is to select ALL the points (in sharp contrast with my usual habits). In any case, the tracking will begin always on the central point.
Is that right? What are the "best" settings?
My typical "action" subjects involve my kids running around and towards me.
