Audio Novice

Digital Video Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
I am experienced as a photographer, but a total novice when it comes to audio.

I am trying to figure out an audio setup for the following uses/purposes:

- recording screencasts at my computer (Mac)

- recording audio while capturing video, most likely with an iphone 5 or 6. It's web use only, and the videos will be instructional, so the speaker (me) will be on camera anywhere from 3-10 feet from the camera

- Is there a single option that will suit both types of recording, or am I better off having 2 different mic setups?

I've looked at some options from Rode, but am not sure if something from Audio Technica might work too.

TIA!
