Minolta - Minolta Flashmeter V Repair

General Equipment Chat & Advice - www.amateurphotographer.co.uk
Firstly, I hope I am posting in the correct subheading, and my apologies if not.

I am based in the UK, and I am wondering if anyone knows anyone who may have a look at my Minolta Flashmeter V, which has recently started giving some very erratic readings especially when using flash. It has not been dropped or bashed, it has fresh batteries and is stored in a sealed storage box when not in use.

I understand that there are issues with these meters in respect of the oxidisation buildup on contacts, but as I am a bit of a 'luddite' when it comes to all things electronic, I would prefer to run it past a professional first, but I try opening it up, and letting my many thumbs loose inside.

I have had a look online and I am guessing this is a long shot, but I would be grateful if anyone could recommend anyone who may be able to have a look and if required repair said meter.

Many thanks

Glenn
