wide angle lens for Northern Lights - Cheap and reasonably good

Digital Cameras & Photography - www.hardwarezone.com.sg - forums.hardwarezone.com.sg
would appreciate all the experts here to advise on a suitable wide angle lens to be used for shooting the Northern Lights. As not likely to be going for such trip that often, don't intend to spend too much getting a high end lens.

am having a Nikon D600

so as long as reasonably good sharpness for low light will be good enough for me, no need to be top end sharpness meant for professional.

tried reading up some googled sites, and some sites recommended some Rokinon or Sigma brand 14mm lens or something like that

TIA.
