Nikon, Pentax - Old pentax lens on new nikon

Photography Chat Forum - www.photography-forum.org
I'm 14 years old and have been into photography for about 8 years. But just found out that my mum has an old 50mm 1.7 pentax-m lens that she used with a pentax film camera. Would I be able to use that with my nikon D3200 or are pentax-m adapters not a thing. I have done some research but couldnt really find anything so I'm posting here. Also if an adapter for the old lens is not an option. Could someone recommend to me a nikon equivalent of the 'Nifty fifty' by canon. Would be a great help, thanks, Luke.
