Is there a better travel camera?

Photography Equipment & Products - www.thephotoforum.com
Every year I travel some place fun...and somehow end up buying a new camera for the trip *LOL*

a few years ago (many many) I got a Panasonic Lumix LX5, 2 years back I borrowed a GM1.

Last year I used an Olympus TG4.

This year I'm planning to get the Olympus OMD-EM10 MkII

Assuming my budget is around USD 600...is there anything better?

I looked at the Sony A6000 with 16-50 but I'm left eye dominant so it doesn't feel as nice.

Also, I like the closer focusing Zuiko lens (mostly photos of food).

Also considered the RX100 MkII but inferior image quality (though it is lovely small).

Closest competitor is the Lumix GX850 but the EM10 MkII has better image stabilization.

(background I also have a Nikon D810 with several lenses but I hate travelling with that bulk...maybe I'll trick my GF into carrying them)
