Canon - DPP v. Lightroom for image quality?

Canon Rebel (EOS 1100D-300D) Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review - forums.dpreview.com
I shoot RAW with my XSi and covert wtih DPP; never tried Lightroom. I understand that Lightroom is better for workflow, but is it as good for image quality? I've always liked the "Canon color" I get from DPP as well as the ability to choose from the various Styles, and also (for some shots) the ability to correct lens distortion. Would I be giving up anything by switching to Lightroom?
